Bientina derrot\u00f3 a SD Farms. por 18-6 y se adjudic\u00f3 la Ylvisaker Cup, el segundo certamen de la NPC 16-goal Championship (Wellington Polo Tour), y cuya gran final se espera para el pr\u00f3ximo domingo 13 de abril,<\/strong> en el National Polo Center (NPC), ubicado en Wellington, Florida, Estados Unidos.\u00a0 El certamen, que comenz\u00f3 el pasado 28 de enero, tuvo la presencia de doce equipos de hasta 16 goles de handicap, divididos en cuatro zonas.<\/p>\n

La final de la Ylvisaker Cup se desarroll\u00f3 el domingo 16 de febrero, <\/strong>con un equipo de Bientina imparable, que comenz\u00f3 con un 3-1 en el primer chukker, y luego apabull\u00f3 a su rival durante el resto del partido. En el half time estaban nada menos que 11-2 arriba y para el final del quinto chukker el asunto estaba definitivamente resuelto a favor de Bientina, con un inalcanzable 18-3. Bientina sali\u00f3 a jugar el \u00faltimo chukker con esa c\u00f3moda ventaja, que les permiti\u00f3 ganar por 18-6, y quedarse con la Ylvisaker Cup.<\/p>\n

La Ylvisaker Cup, uno de los torneos m\u00e1s relevantes de la temporada en los Estados Unidos, se disputa desde 2003, como tributo a un pionero del polo americano y pieza fundamental del desarrollo del polo en Florida, William T. \u00abBill\u00bb Ylvisaker. Entre otros, hizo resurgir el polo, adem\u00e1s de otros deportes ecuestres, en la zona durante los 70 y 80, y adem\u00e1s fue el fundador del Palm Beach Polo and Country Club.<\/p>\n
