Mientras en el Al Habtoor Polo Club se comienzan a llevar a cabo los preparativos para la gran final del s\u00e1bado de la Dubai Gold Cup, que tendr\u00e1 como rivales a UAE y Jehangiri; en Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, ubicado en las afueras de la ciudad de Abu Dhabi, capital de los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos, ya se piensa en el inicio del \u00faltimo torneo de alto h\u00e1ndicap e la temporada 2025 de la regi\u00f3n: la Ghantoot International Polo Championship.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al igual que la edici\u00f3n del a\u00f1o pasado, participar\u00e1n cuatro equipos de hasta veinte goles de h\u00e1ndicap, estos ser\u00e1n: Ghantoot, Abu Dhabi, Habtoor y UAE.\u00a0<\/strong>El formato ser\u00e1 un todos contra todos en donde los mejores dos posicionados, disputar\u00e1n la final establecida el s\u00e1bado 8 de marzo. En caso de igualdad de puntos entre tres equipos, ser\u00e1n necesarios tirar penales para desempatar entre dichos equipos.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, este a\u00f1o habr\u00e1 una novedad, que ser\u00e1 introducida de manera obligatoria por un tema de religi\u00f3n. Al comenzar el Ramad\u00e1n el primero de marzo, los encuentros que se lleven acabo despu\u00e9s de esa fecha; incluida la final, se jugar\u00e1n a la noche<\/strong>, para as\u00ed los jugadores que sean musulmanes, tengan tiempo para poder ingerir alimentos.<\/p>\n
