Iglehart, quien comenz\u00f3 a jugar al polo siendo muy joven, llegando a 7 goles de handicap, el cual mantuvo por 13 a\u00f1os. Entre sus logros, gan\u00f3 el US Open, en 1953, y fue pionero en Meadowbrook Polo Club, en\u00a0 Medford, New York, y el fundador del Gulfstream Polo Club, en Lake Worth, Florida, que hoy ya no existe.
