Kaia super\u00f3 a Zapican BMW por 10-9, y se consagr\u00f3 campe\u00f3n de la NPC 16-goal Championship (Wellington Polo<\/strong> Tour), <\/strong>tras la final que se realiz\u00f3 el domingo 13 de abril<\/strong> en el National Polo Center, en Wellington, Florida, Estados Unidos. Vale recordar que Kaia entr\u00f3 como cuarto equipo en reemplazo de Copperline Farm, ganadores de la Iglehart Cup, y que se retir\u00f3 de la fase final.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Con la excepci\u00f3n del tercer y cuarto chukker, que finalizaron empatados 6-6 y 7-7, respectivamente, Kaia siempre se mantuvo al frente del marcador ante Zapican BMW, que hab\u00eda ganado el primer certamen de la serie, la Joe Barry Memorial Cup, aunque solo por la m\u00ednima diferencia. Fue un partido duro y muy peleado, que entrando a jugar el sexto y \u00faltimo chukker, Kaia lideraba tan solo por 8-7. Estaba para cualquiera, pero Kaia, que tuvo a Santos Tevez en reemplazo de Larry Austin, marc\u00f3 los dos goles que necesitaba en ese chukker final, para consagrarse campe\u00f3n de la serie de 16 goles en los Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n
