Don Tancredi se impuso a Amanara por 9-6, y ganaron la Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother’s Centenary Trophy, en la final que tuvo lugar en Guards Polo Club, ubicado en Windsor Great Park, Inglaterra, el domingo 10 de mayo<\/strong>. El certamen, que hab\u00eda comenzado el pasado 26 de abril,<\/strong> y es uno de los m\u00e1s competitivos en el nivel de 15 goles, tuvo la presencia de once conjuntos de hasta 15 goles de handicap.<\/p>\n

Hazel Jackson fue la MVP de la final, en tanto que la manta al BPP le correspondi\u00f3 a Pan Casero Porte\u00f1a, jugada por Teo Lacau.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, la Subsidiaria fue para La Hechicera, que super\u00f3 a Tempest por 6-5.<\/p>\n

El certamen es un tributo a Su Majestad Reina Elizabeth (1900-2002), esposa de Su Majestad Rey George VI (1895-1952), y padres de Su Majestad Reina Elizbeth II (1926-2022). Elizabeth Bowes Lyon, posteriormente conocida como la Reina Madre (Queen Mother), tras el ascenso del trono de su hija, Elizabeth, en 1952, era una arist\u00f3crata escocesa que se cas\u00f3 con el entonces Duque de York, en 1923. Cumpli\u00f3 100 a\u00f1os en 2001 y como tributo al centenario, Guards organiz\u00f3 un torneo de polo en su honor.<\/em><\/p>\n
