David Cummings, Bob Puetz y Chip Campbell estuvieron presentes es el evento. Cabe recordar que si Pilot vence a Las Monjitas el s\u00e1bado en la final del US Open, se llevar\u00e1 el trofeo a casa, adem\u00e1s del premio mayor: el mill\u00f3n de d\u00f3lares.
